AT Your Service Weddings was founded by Amber Towler in the Summer of 2014. Her strong desire to help brides and their families create the wedding of their dreams, and a passion for planning and creativity, was the driving force behind her decision to start her own company.
She has an extensive background in the event planning industry, which started before even graduating high school, when she would assist her mom, President of Monarch Meetings, with the logistics of annual conventions. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, which led to her first job as a Corporate Event Planner for Circuit City Stores, Inc. She has also worked in the Richmond area at Brandermill Country Club and Independence Golf Club, where she executed several charity and corporate golf tournaments, as well as wedding ceremonies & receptions, and other social events.
She then worked at the four-diamond award winning Westin Richmond Hotel, where she planned and coordinated an array of weddings, corporate meetings, rehearsal dinners, political events, and many other events. Switching things up a bit, she made a career change in 2010, when she went to work for an IT company in Richmond, as a Project Manager/Technical Coordinator. Although she liked the work and enjoyed the challenge, she finally decided it was time to pursue her goal and start her own business! So, with that, AT Your Service Weddings was born.
When she's not working hard planning weddings, Amber spends her free time hanging out with her husband and little girl, Charly, as well as reading, cooking, gardening, finishing/painting furniture, and anything outdoors!
